Sing Japanese Dub “Even Better Than The Original”

Japanese versions for some of the songs present in western animated film “Sing” have started being released online, with established seiyuu Mamoru Miyano and Maaya Sakamoto demonstrating their vocal prowess (even whilst being forced to sing in the barbaric language that is English) and causing some to esteem them as even better than the original singers.

A brief PV of the film’s scene involving Taylor Swift song “Shake it Off”:

A brief interview with Maaya Sakamoto:

A temporary glimpse at Mamoru Miyano’s roles along with an interview:

The Japanese version of Sing is available now in theaters throughout Japan.

No shit. Maaya Sakamoto has more talent than all soon to be has-been pop stars combined. Nothing compares to her sheer skill, experience and grace.

As expected from Sakamoto Maaya. Not just she is so good with singing but she also so good with voice acting as well.

I would actually listen to these trash pop songs if Maaya was singing them, I really would.

I already listen to her albums. As a long time fan I'm not surprised she's this great.

Anyway, I never watched either the original dub or my country's dub, so I personally can't tell if this is better.

If ever there was proof that the part of the brain used for speaking and the part used for singing were different....

Mad props to Mamoru for imitating the voice and accent of the other pig.

Edit: My bad. I gave him credit for the pig based off the way the article was written.

I was all "Daaaaaaang, Setsuna F. Seiei got some RANGE."

Mamoru... the guy that voiced 'i'm mad scientist, it's so cool, sunof'a bitch" in the most broken engrish from steins;gate... how, just how did he pull that off? this must be fake!

Why? Because S;G's script was in broken english? I mean, I'ven seen plenty of actor forcing "bad acting" for a script when they can do it perfectly fine just the next moment... So no, neither a fake nor actually new. We all already knew Mamoru and Maaya are awesome.

Yes. The one who voiced Wooser (or USA if you mind the right spelling) is can not be bad.
