Heavy criticism has once again emerged from the internet as a new trailer for the next title in the beloved Sonic franchise has arrived, which many skeptical individuals are already assuming to be overflowing with horrendous glitches and unfair mechanics (which, if previous entries in the series are any indication, it may well be).

It seems to me that all you can do whenever a new Sonic game comes out it is bash it. Absolutely nothing positive and it’s saddening that you can only judge the newer games by flops of the past. If you hate the series so much why bother commenting on it? A lot of us actually have good feels for the game.

not bullshit. bashing a game before its even released is pretty stupid, generations was actually good and sonic boom wasnt made by sonic team so it shouldnt count towards the criticism.
I love it when people still get swept up in the Sonic Cycle.
Who misses Sonic the Hedgehog SAT-AM (1993)… Those were the days that Sonic was an exciting character, and Dr. Robotnik was actually a menacingly diabolical villain… (and not just an Egg-Man laughing stock)

I AM, however, willing to put up a challenge. Sonic Mania will make 3-5 times the profit that this Sonic Forces could ever hope to, and the reason is not hard to understand.
However, it’s really sad to know that it takes several “FANBOYS” to create a worthy “Sonic” game, but the franchise’s OWN CREATORS haven’t been able to procure a GOOD game since Sonic and Knuckles….. (that was released in 1996)
