Mascot-based Dynasty Warriors clone Musou Stars has divulged a special trailer detailing how players can swap costumes with another existing character, a genius feature that will surely amplify the sexiness of the game’s glorious women and hopefully convince players into buying the mountains of DLC that will inevitably arrive for the title.
The stylish trailer:
Legions of weak minions can be annihilated once Musou Stars launches for the PS4 and Vita on March 30th.
Wtf is doing shitty rose in that game and not Tengu sama??? stupid japs who like generics cliche chars.
Its lolis that they like. Kawaii Kulture and all that.
But rose is not a l♥♥i, have 17, so is only a flat whiout personality, japs noobs vote for her whiout knowing that XD.
She could pass for a l♥♥i and that’s all that matters. She could be 1000 like Nyotengu’s age, its just a number. MR’s design is the most basic, cookie cutter version of the quintessential “lolita” character, just a bit taller and a fake id.
Koei Tecmo in general is, imo, the lead publisher of games that push and innovate in especially cosmetic details like this (and usually DOA is involved in some way, heh)… definately one of the few great Japanese game publishers still going strong today.
If only they:
1.- Used a proper engine like Unreal or Cryengine.
2.- Learned to make decent textures and proper character models.
…
right?
I’d take DOA5’s graphics over anything in unreal any day… those games always make me think I’m just playing in a computer generated world. Those engines have their pros for sure, but I’d take a game from KT or Nintendo with their engines over any others even if they’re not as heavy on the graphics card. Show me a cryengine or unreal game that does what Team Ninja’s Soft Engine does, then they’ll satisfy me.
So…. anyone can wear everyones outfit?
Male to Female and Vice Versa?
That could actually be fun.
And hilarious or sexy… Im remembering when you could do Donovan’s final attack in SNK vs Capcom: Chaos that changed men into women, and when it happened to Earthquake, with his lack of outfit… too bad Japanese console games dont believe in nipples anymore.
It was Demitri, not Donovan. But yeah, I remember how Hugo was turned in to Poison when drained of his life energy.
Actually more work still has to be done to make the images “look” more life like, because as it stands, gaming graphics still just looks too plastic to me.
I am sorry guys.
These games have always looked like s♥♥t. Character models have barely evolved since the PS2 era. Gameplay is love it or hate it, though, that’s why it sells, but these games look like s♥♥t from a technological standpoint.
Are you talking about all musou (aka Warriors series as in Dynasty Warriors) games? They’re more concerned with putting as many enemies on screen as possible, and how much further can 3D models done in an anime style go before they start to look like just another realistic western-style game?
gtfo 3d piggu
Even games like Death Stranding? It depends on the artstyle… personally I prefer this over hyoer-realism, but I think more anime-style games shoud use cel-shading.
Have you seen gameplay image of Death Stranding? If so, get in contact with the media. Not even Kojima has seen that game.
only talking about visuals/graphics here as an example… but I guess you have a point when it comes to in-game graphics during gameplay. I only used it as an example cuz I dont know or play many games with realistic graphics… maybe witcher 3?
