The latest in this series of videos revolving around notable Japanese developers creating levels for Super Mario Maker has recruited the efforts of Touhou creator Zun, as he naturally attempts to employ bullet hell elements into his level – which everyone can try now themselves (if they have both the game and the masochistic love of Touhou).
A video detailing Zun’s design process:
Those not in possession of Super Mario Maker can purchase a copy for the Wii U or 3DS now.
I have never played a Touhou game to-date (the entire room gasps) but I do love the series and all of the characters and the outstanding music. I’ll get around to playing it someday.

Lol that wall and that room
Is really short but ZUN has always been lazy
Is that some fanguy’s room? Or is that actually Zun’s room?
It’s probably just a room that’s used for interviews and other media appearances. I find it hard to believe that this guy still lives in student housing.
Pretty weak level to be honest, expected a lot more projectiles covering the screen.
You’d be surprised how many people enemy spam on Mario Maker. Not content with just a handful of enemies on screen, they put dozens of the same enemy in a small area, bowsers, everything. So you’re left with a literal clusterfk of a level. You’d be surprised how many people make these sorts of levels and put a dev exit by the start, you should know when playing Mario Maker online to check for hidden blocks around the start.
Is the Easy mode lol
