Grandfather of games – Shigeru Miyamoto – has seemingly appeared in more videos as of late, with this newest promotional video for Super Mario Run unsurprisingly featuring the legendary man as he once again shows off the various activities that individuals can do whilst playing the also-ran smartphone game.
The new cake-based PV:
Some extra videos are also available courtesy of Miyamoto’s visit to the Tonight Show:
iOS devices will be the first to obtain Super Mario Run on December 15th, while the Android version is slated for release sometime in 2017.
No Metroid, no care.
At this rate the next Metroid will be a shitty tap tap phone game. “Freeze incoming Metroids with a tap and destroy it with 5 missile taps!”
Maybe even that is too much control for a phone game.
And it’ll probably use chibi graphics again.
NEVER played that mario s♥♥t/crap and will NEVER do.
Still gonna pirate it at launch.
>nintendo takes a risk and changes it up
“WAH WHY CANT THEY JUST STICK WITH WHAT THEY’RE GOOD AT, I LIKED THE OLD STUFF, MORE OF THAT PLEASE”
>nintendo makes more of old stuff
“WAH THEY ALWAYS RELEASE THE SAME s♥♥t, WHY CANT THEY GIVE US SOMETHING NEW”
Selective memory I swear, they have good and bad releases like everyone else. This will probably be decent entertainment value at 10 dollars, chill out.
The thing is, some of the new stuff Nintendo deliver isn’t the stuff people wanted. And the same stuff they make is typically what people ask for less of.
Like people wanted more Metroid, and Nintendo delivered a 4-player co-op shooter loosely based on Metroid where you don’t even play as Samus. People wanted less Sticker Star and Nintendo gave people HD Sticker Star with a pretty little ribbon on it.
>Selective memory
Or you know… the people that want old stuff and new stuff are different people.
Yes, but people always look comments as they are from the, “humans”, generally.
Especially when they are all anonymous.
So I really agree with 00:10. Not just on this, but most long existing works.
