Nintendo Switch Debuts on Tonight Show

Popular American TV program “The Tonight Show” has rather surprisingly become the platform for debuting footage of the Nintendo Switch in action, certainly puzzling Nintendo fans and journalists alike with such an out-of-place setting.

The 9-minute segment which was originally scheduled to only be showcasing Super Mario Run:

Specifications, pricing and various other highly important facts will be unveiled for the Nintendo Switch on January 13th.

You cannot keep a franchise alive if you bring out only one game for every console generation. Fans will not accept this.

I loved the part where Miyamoto did the Roman thumb thing. I never took him to be that kind of a funny guy. He always seemed a bit introverted to me. Here he looked like a party animal.

    ...He's cute.

Did you see him playing the guitar like a boss alongside the legendary Roots? That man is impressive.

Fallon & Conan can be entertaining once every 5 years. Reggie is a douche through-and-through. I hope he gets HIV and dies, with a forced "retirement" before Spring 2017.

It's the land of laugh track sit-coms. People are trained to positively react to fake laughs. Pavlovian conditioning at its best.

it'll tank; their entry into the tablet market is too far behind crapple to even put a dent in their sales margins.

also the docking station design is exactly how i said sony should have designed and marketed vita before it was released. they could have easily designed a simple dock for hdmi/power. and simply relied on dualshock3/4 controllers for external/additional input, but no sony is run by jew bastards.

That is not really a tablet, and they are definitely not trying to "put a dent in Apple's sales margins". It's a portable gaming device that doubles as a console. Last I checked, Apple's devices don't have physical game controls that snap onto the sides, and without a proper gaming interface built-in, their devices will continue to be limited to mostly mediocre touch-centric games. Unlike Nintendo, gaming isn't their primary focus.

Also, I don't see why you would suggest the Switch will 'tank', when according to you, it's exactly what you said Sony should have done.

So Nintendeo decided that marketing is important, after all? Good. Hopefully the decide region locking is a stupid thing to do, too.

Pffft. Yeah right. Nintendo only listens to its own asshole. At least the American division. But that's mostly because every time he farts, Reggie thinks his asshole is blowing him a kiss.

The Wii was shown on tons of popular talk shows though... and yeah it sold. But I cant remember if they did it with Wii U, whither they did or not.

I remember first seeing the Wii U in a store and being surprised at it's existence. Then a friend told me it was out for over a year at that point. I didn't even notice.
