A clever cram school owner has had his masterful plan of hiding a spy camera in the fire alarm of the women’s bathroom busted by police, an “innovation” of voyeuristic strategy that will no doubt be copied by perverts everywhere (although fortunately the necessity of regular inspections may limit its impact).
Despite seeming like the perfect setup, the 33-year-old man’s antics were foiled by police due to him being previously arrested for (twice) sneaking into a school to take obscene photos of students, as their investigations led to the man’s computer and eventually the spy camera.
The man was charged with violating child prostitution and pornography control laws and had his computer and camera confiscated as a result; there has so far been no mention as to the likely length and extent of his punishment.
I’ve have witnessed people making 100k+ salaries lose their careers over peeping cams.
Because they forgot that making 100k+ doesn’t make them immune to the law.
