New Code Geass Project & Films Announced

CodeGeass-10thAnniversary-Visual

Legendary mecha anime Code Geass will soon be receiving a continuation in the form of “Code Geass: Lelouch of the Resurrection”, which will take place after the original anime’s tragic conclusion and seemingly implies the resurrection of the beloved Lelouch – despite the fact that more hardcore fans have already “confirmed” that he is still alive…

The news arrived by way of a special Code Geass event celebrating the franchise’s 10th anniversary:

It has not been revealed whether “Code Geass: Lelouch of the Resurrection” will be a TV anime or film, though a recap of the original anime will soon be making its way to theaters in the form of a 3-part film series, with the first part to debut in January with re-recorded dialogue and new animation.

A debut date for Code Geass: Lelouch of the Resurrection has naturally not been divulged either.
