Studio Khara (perhaps best known for creating the new Rebuild of Evangelion movies and the ME! ME! ME! short) has celebrated its 10th anniversary by opening a special exhibit featuring content for all the projects they have worked on, with most being attributed to their magnum opus of Evangelion.

The exhibit and all its rather lightly sketched artwork:

Well Anno said that now that his duties on Shin Godzilla are over he would only be working on EVA so hopefully it won't be too much longer

A week ago there was an interview with Anno, his response regarding to the sequel is:

"I don't know. Probably not any time soon."

After the dumpster fire that was the third movie, I'm past caring.

The first movie was fine, with a very cool and creative final battle. The second was fantastic, absolutely raised the standard, with characters developing some actual character and, again, a final battle that just... ugh, excuse me while I masturbate.

Then the third was released. And the world became a bleaker place. What a piece of shit. What terrible garbage. Well, maybe that's too harsh, but unless the fourth movie explains some of these character motivations (Misato wanting to murder the shit out of Shinji, as compared to sacrificing herself to save him in EoE...), I'm afraid that the director's lost his marbles.

He just said he started working on it, so don't expect it for another 2 years.

Probably not before 2019/20 since they just recently started working on it.
