A newly surfaced western-made animation for Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask has been receiving boundless praise for its superb quality and dark theme, though many are expecting the video to be forcibly removed by Nintendo for merely mentioning the name of one of their properties…
The stunning animation:
The video details the creator’s interpretation of Skull Kid’s origin story; how many people will be able to witness this tale however is up to the “almighty” Nintendo…
it is a Video which (again) is against some individual… and using majoras mask theme to make it appear to be a “normal fan Video”….
nintendo: “oh s♥♥t! we can’t take this down this is too good”
Hey the narrator sounds like Gaku Space, who also does Genji’s voice in Overwatch
the only bad things its that the fairies are MEAT BALLS FAIRIES!!!— couldnt they just make a human siluette inside a glowing ball of light?… they seem to be glowing meat balls with wings!
Let’s just call it a homage to the style of the N64 games. No matter that the resolution of textures couldn’t display the miniature form of a character.
And while the rendering and attention to detail is amazing, I’m not so sure I want to see a full-blown 120 minute movie about a LoZ game. I mean, what’s the point? Every “generation” has their own favourite that they’d pick.
If something HAD to be made, for some reason or other, I’d offer up the Wind Waker games – it’s already a goddamn cartoon in a cell-shaded style, the island-hopping gameplay would offer a “monster of the week” scenario and it’s a nice twist on the old “OH NO GANNON HAS KIDNAPPED THE PRINCESS, SAVE HER, MARI- I MEAN, LINK!” plot.
Anyway, it will never happen, Nintendo’s way too protective of its characters. Maybe a movie about Splatoon, since that’s the most un-Nintendo thing I’ve ever seen become a reality. Might as well go all the way with a movie, eSports and whatever else is the norm for the current, terrible, TERRIBLE generation.
Okay, it looks amazing, but fairies are not balls with wings. It supposes to be a spherical glow, and inside that glow is a tiny person with wings.
