Koutetsujou no Kabaneri Movie: “Win A Role As A Kabane!”

The upcoming compilation films for Koutetsujou no Kabaneri have offered hardcore fans a chance to win a role as one of the franchise’s staple kabane, a foot in the door for any budding seiyuu if the role possessed any actual dialogue.

One of the anime’s notable scenes have been provided as a reference for what the directors want in terms of voice direction:

10 winners will be chosen for each of the 2 compilation films, with 5 of the winners also getting the opportunity to attend the premier and meet the show’s cast – others will receive autographed posters and pamphlets.

The first compilation film will debut on December 31st, with the 2nd arriving in theaters on January 7th.

Compilation films are not a new cancer of anime, as anyone around during Mobile Suit Gundam can attest to. It's simply a cancer of anime.

To be fair, movies can provide opportunity. For example, the Nanoha movies provided better art and nipples. OF course, nowadays, those things are just provided on BDs.

    >Go watch the same shit you saw on TV, but now you pay more for the and it's still nothing new.
Yeah, ok. Thanks. I guess. You could've done a second season, a video game or a new show but instead went with a fuckig recap movie. Fucking... I give up.

you dont pay for anythign you see on TV, dude. If you pay for it, its for the BD's, and lol movie tickets would only cost more than anime BD's if you include the flight to japan

Actually they are mainly for people that don't watch anime on tv but do watch in the movie-house.
