Robotics company Speecys has supposedly manufactured the “world’s first motion figure”, the Model MOFI7 Pro, a Vocalobot that will no doubt be coveted amongst otaku despite seeming rather primitive – though whether or not buyers can amass the nearly ten thousand dollars needed to buy the figure is another matter entirely.
A PV of the figure in motion, which is compatible with animations used in MikuMikuDance:
The Model MOFI7 Pro will be showcased at the Business Frontier Fair at Tokyo Big Sight from October 31st to November 2nd.
Looks like trash..
This costed 10k? This technology is incredibly amateur!
I was expecting just the beginning of the motion to be very static and then suddenly comes to life. Nope, not impressed.
*Looks at ball joints connecting the thighs to the torso, action figure crotch and lack of holes*
What the… I can’t f♥♥k this! What’s the point of a $9400 motion figure if I can’t even f♥♥k it!?! I mean this could have been the first step towards robotic companions but what’s the point if I can’t even f♥♥k it!? Hell I could buy a real dancing girl for a quarter of that price!
THIS TECHNOLOGY IS USELESS!!! THIS ROBOT IS USELESS!!! GET OUTTA HERE WITH THIS USELESS UNFUCKABLE ROBOT!!! *flips table*
No limits to japan
