    Back extension or hyperextensions are seriously dangerous. Especially for someone that doesn't have a specific reason for targeting the lower back. There are many better exercises that target a wider set of muscle groups and don't run the risk of destroying your lower back. That said, I really like the look of that donkey kick machine, I've never seen one like that in a gym.

    For someone just starting out in the gym, doing incline crunches and most machine workouts is pretty stupid. First work on stability and core, which will help prevent injuries later on. Basic crunches and planks (but stop if you feel any back pain). Do some light free weights where the concentration is on form instead of weight or reps. Then get some cardio in.

    Just glad to see more Ai-chan this week. Too bad NBC/Universal doesn't show stuff like this in North America. Much better than 95% of the programming they have.
