American music producer Porter Robinson has unleashed an AMV for his song “Shelter”, utilizing the power of anime to help promote its awareness despite the west having a lower interest in the medium than Japan (or perhaps snaring the favor of Japan was his intent all along).
The AMV, with the animation itself created by A-1 Pictures:
The AMV revolves around a cute girl who lives a lonely life inside a virtual reality simulator that can generate any type of environment, a situation that would likely be a paradise for solitary otaku.
Shelter
Animation – Cool as s♥♥t
Music – Sucks s♥♥t.
This kind of lonely AMVs suit better with songs like Odesza’s “Say my name”.
Good video.
