They have to at least go through the Trials and Tribulations game as well right? The story isn't complete without it!

They also skipped the final trial of the NDS version of Ace Attorney, as well as the intro trial of JFA.

As a fan of the series, I'm very disappointed in the anime. Both the story-telling and the music lacked the impact of the games.

In the games, whenever you pointed out an inconsistency, the whole animation and music made you feel like: "Hell, yeah! Take that, you sonuvabitch!"
In the anime, it felt more like: "Oh, nice catch, dude."

When things got rough, you'd feel like: "Oh, crap, no..." but in the anime it was like: "Hah, plot armor incoming!"

The game lived off its packing atmosphere, which the anime sadly lacked.

I bet they chose not to cover T&T because they couldn't handle Godot.

Yeah that's why I stopped watching the show. Everything in the show just flowed. There was no sense of tension at all. It was like watching an episode of Scooby where they see the villain, look down, grab clue, say the villain is ____ because of _____ and skip all the antics in between. In the games I sit there and think "OMG How can I prove this guy is lying? I gotta choose the right clue. This is my last chaaaaaance. TAKE THAT!!" There was none of that in the show.

I'm 23 so I would only watch reruns of Scooby-Doo. Everyone only watches that show for Velma anyway.

I've never played any of the Gyakuten Saiban series. Maybe one day Capcom will remake them all on modern consoles/pc. I will watch the anime.

Well, if you plan to play the games better stay away from the anime for two reasons:

    1) The anime doesn't do justice to the game's plot. In the games, the cases are much more interesting and last longer.

    2) The plot is basically the gameplay, so if you know what's going to happen beforehand it may ruin your experience with the game.

Also, if/when you play the 2nd game, for the love of all that's holy, find a way to skip the 3rd case, you'll thank me later.

I got into reading about the series after playing Marvel VS Capcom 3. I do love the soundtracks from the Gyakuten Saiban series.
