Mitchie M is still the only one who can make Miku sound realistic.

Miku NEEDS to be in the Opening ceremony of the 2020 Olympics. If she's not it in I'll be seriously disappoint with Japan.

David Letterman raped miku you know, and miku will never tell because of blackmail. She should be used to that by now.

It doesn't sound that much different than the other versions. But, CircusP is always a win. He(she?) always does good english miku work.

Many new songs will come from this epic piece of software. Why no Linux support?

Who is going to spend all that money to port it over just for a few neckbeards and ageing hippies?

This is what's supposed to happen when a technologically ignorant anon pitches Linux memes. Thank you for using your brain.

    Anyone with half a brain.
Because most of the best tools for sampling are linux natives and some of them have not been ported to any other system.
Don't get me wrong, I have no problem running another SO from a pendrive to use some software that is not available or runs worse in my main SO, but Vocaloids should be easy as hell to port since ReWire and VSTi have been used for years already, so the main components don't even need to be rewritten.

"as the beloved Hatsune Miku continues to become more and more human with each new Version"

And someday when she sounds totally human, no one wants to listen anymore because she sounds as boring as any other idol.

Maybe she is the best because of her flaws? We love that voice.

there are no flaws, it's simply her distinctive style. and YES - that is what we want.

Indeed. There are thousands and thousands of crappy humans that we can listen to. There is but one Miku. (perhaps with many instantiations)

Miku and the other Vocaloids, as well at the attempts at AI and robotics, prove to me that crappy humans are merely an evolutionary step that leads to "artificial" life taking over. It is far easier for robots/AI to leave the planet, as they don't need to take bubbles of environment with them.
