The worldwide phenomenon that is Pokemon Go has managed to claim its first life in Japan, the result of a driver’s severe lack of judgment as he apparently thought it would be a good idea to both drive and attempt to catch Pokemon at the same time.
The 39-year-old truck driver was apprehended by Tokushima police after striking two elderly women with his vehicle, causing the death of one and the serious injury of the other.
Admitting to his crimes, the careless driver had told police that he “wasn’t looking ahead properly because I was playing Pokemon Go”, the man has since been arrested and has been charged with reckless driving, with involuntary homicide always a possibility as well.
Though many would naturally assume that the concept of playing a game whilst driving to be a horrible idea, it seems a total of 79 traffic incidents directly associated with Pokemon Go have been recorded since July 22nd, with over 1,000 individuals being cited for traffic infractions due to driving whilst playing.
And unfortunately this is not the first time that death has been associated with the mobile game…
The game didn´t force him to look at it.
This only happened because of his stupidity.
You know- Don’t text and drive is the same thing as playing fucking video games while driving- MORONS! all of them.
there goes no appropriate LAW for reckless driving while playing pokemon go, but good thing in PH that NO POKEMON GO WHILE DRIVING or you might get ARRESTED, worst is a FINE more expensive than your Cost of Living Allowance

hahahahaha! oh the stupidity.. it would probabaly kill the driver if he STOPPED playing while driving.. i pity anyone who is addicted to playing pokemon go..
