Some day we'll finally have hair, fur, and foliage technology that doesn't look like it's from the 90's and doesn't destroy framerates. Some day...

Blame that on the console's hardware. It's just not powerful enough for them to do what they want to do. The technology of realistic real-time physic simulated hair, fur, and foliage has been around on the PC side for years.

Though, it does, still, and will always kill framerates. It's just a very demanding and complicate process for the CPU/GPU to handle.

Final Fantasy XV will get a huge visual upgrade IF (a very big if) they properly implement nVidia Gameworks to get what you're asking for. However, you are going to need their top of the line GPU to render it at a playable framerate; 1080 GTX or the Titan X Pascal.

This is like that line in George of the Jungle when the narrator said, "Inspiring Awe" and the whole cast went "Awwwwwwwwww, how cute"

It's going to be the next 13. Why? Because square has westernized the series to death.

The design is great, but it still looks like it's The Legend of Zelda Call of the Wild. Start making FF for PC already, /then/ porting it to consoles!

Know your place. Conslones = money. Cuz ppl prefer to play on consoles. Thats why your claim is ridicules. If you have doubts, play last batman. New hardware is for early adopters, and crappy ports without optimisation. Again play batman. Consoles are standard. You wont buy 8k tv cuz u dont need it for now. Right?

You're going to have to update that release date to November 29th in short order. Surprised you didn't even mention it. XD

Still technically a rumor at this point, but it's practically guaranteed at this point given the signs.

I'm getting a real Xenoblade Chronicles (X) feeling in this game where you fight giant beasts and stuff, wonder if they designers were inspired a bit from those.

"a bit"? Xenoblade came out the same year as FF13. Square canceled their versus game and made this instead. In other words, this is a blatant copy which still took them 5 years to make. That really tells you all you need to know about Square.

You are clearly retarded as the game has always been open-world. You would know that had you bothered to look at the old gameplay footage.
