Pokemon Uranium A Literal Blast

Following in the footsteps of another recently released fan game comes Pokemon Uranium, a loving tribute that has supposedly been in development for 9 years and will surely be a nice change of pace for diehard trainers who may already be bored to death by Pokemon Go.

A previously released trailer:

Naturally many are hoping that Nintendo will avoid forcibly taking the title down, but considering their recent actions, this seems quite unlikely – the game is free to play and available now.

Tried it after seeing all the hype it was getting. It's garbage. It's terribly unbalanced and buggy as hell. And the framerate drops like crazy. There's so many better pokemon fan games out there. This one is a complete waste of time.

You try making one fagtard. Im quite enjoying this one since they made up their own pokemon. They should rename it to polkamon so they dont need to deal with nintendo fags

Gen 1 era might not have been the best of eras in many aspects, and its game sure often cannot compare to what we have now. But Gen 1 era had one thing this era lacks: ORIGINALITY. This current Gen is all about remakes, and building on Gen 1 titles. Because they can't seem to successfully create original content anymore.

How are you supposed to make a long-running franchise without building it based on the first gen?
Name it FuckMemon and call it a day?

wow...though attack animations are awful looking. i get that its base RPG maker stuff but they couldn't be bothered to make some custom ones?

Too bad the game lag like no tomorrow with highly unstable framerate even on high end machines. There's no reason for a game like that to drop below 20 fps in some parts.

There is a reason, it's called RPG Maker.

Rpg maker can run games smooth. The issue is when custom scripts/etc were poorly made.

I don't know what RPG Maker version was used as it isn't available anymore, but RPG Maker XP used DirectDraw which isn't properly implemented anymore since Windows 8 (and therefore causes lag)

So, how long until Nintendo takes this one down as well?

Already happened. They turned down any download link from their side because Nintendo America already made use of their lawyer several times to take down any files.

So much for "Naturally many are hoping that Nintendo will avoid forcibly taking the title down, but considering their recent actions, this seems quite unlikely – the game is free to play and available now."

Kind of funny too. They should really take a look at what SEGA is doing right now. They noticed several talented people making Sonic fangames and literally hired them to make Sonic Mania, instead of all this C&D bullshit Nintendo is doing with AM2R and this.

The magnum opus, product of 9 years of playing the same shitty game over and over again, with very slight changes on it, 9 years of looking at pixelated animal sprites bump into eachother while a text box describes it as if an intense battle was taking place in front of your very eyes, 9 long years of complaining about character design while completely ignoring the fact pokefuckers only want to look at numbers and IVs and EVs and couldn't give two shits about visual design, Ladies and gentlemen, the monument to low standards and eating up whatever Gamefreak and TPC throws at you, Pokemon Uranus.

As if the original pokeshits looked any better, from gen 1 to beyond i'd rather look at Digimon.
