Two new trailers for Persona 5 have highlighted the game’s fishing mini-game (of all things) and the central focus of summoning Personas in battle, sure to further add onto the game’s steadily growing level of hype while also potentially restoring the faith of some in the turn-based RPG genre.
The new trailers:
The heist will begin on September 15th for the PS4 and PS3, with the west getting the game on February 14th.
All I’m hoping is that fishing doesn’t take up a whole day again.
English voice DLC when? (冗談)
Not funny. I really want japanese voice with subtitles. 🙁
Game of the year right there. Since the series’reinvention with Persona 3 this franchise has become the best Jrpg franchise in the last decade.
still waiting for persona 3 to be remastered for the vita( or atleast include the epilogue storyline
We don’t know that yet. This is not an independent Atlus anymore. And it wouldn’t be the first thing that SEGA’s foul influence destroyed.
Atlus was never independent. Sega bought them after Atlus’s original owner tanked.
Also, Sega stated that they would leave Atlus alone in regards to game development and creative direction.
^THIS^
Ah, yes, the fishing minigame is a hallmark of many a fine JRPG.
Persona 4 had a fishing minigame, so, obviously, they weren’t going to drop it in the follow-up.
this won’t save the game, it’s still dead, even after the original staff didn’t get with the program of what people want in the game.
