Street Fighter V DLC Gets Competitive

A new slew of DLC content has been announced for Street Fighter V in celebration of the upcoming Capcom Pro Tour, boasting a myriad of costumes and other goodies that may unfortunately prove boring to those who prefer highly revealing and easily destructible outfits…

A PV of the DLC in action:

Street Fighter V’s special Capcom Pro Tour DLC will only be available until November.

SFV costume DLC is already $104, and it's only been a few months.

But you can get more bang for your buck with DoA's DLC. You don't pay $6 for one fucking costume in DoA.

At $29 or $80 for 12, you actually do. Did get the cheapest one during sales, what a waste. Should have just not bothered and go for the full nudity with free mods from a certain adult modding site.

The Senran Kagura DOA DLC costs more than the actual Senran Kagura game.

The dlc is retarded, but at least DOA5 is a good game that is uncensored.

People still play this game with all the censorship, the bad DLC practices of capcom, the lies by capcom, and the fact the scene for this game is dead since it flopped? SF reached its peak long ago and never recovered.

    "bad dlc practices..."

you can unlock most of the dlc (dlc characters, costumes, stages, etc..) with ingame currency you get by playing the game.

but this cpt dlc i don't think it's unlockable with ingame currency since this is for a limited time.

sfv at evo on twitch peaked at 180k viewers, plus it was live on espn... you know national tv. regardless of what you want to believe it's far from dead.

The game sold like shit though and the bugs are still present. Remember how capcom would rather censor the game than actually fix the glaring issues like input delay and the massive amount of bugs still in. You can say it was on ESPN, but that does not matter much considering how ESPN used to shit on e-sports until recently since it is now the hip new thing.

    "massive amount of bugs"

...and yet they played it for the national and international tournaments just fine.

"it was on espn, but that does not matter..."

really?... you really think that? that's just sad.

Are you really this asshurt at people making fun of capcom? The ESPN thing was not even a big event. The only reason ESPN even let it there is because it is the new thing to push. And even then they censor it to try and not hurt feelings. You have to be pretty dumb to try and defend capcom at this point, and to not notice the glaring issues with gameplay to the point most professional players have no faith in the game. You really have to be a huge fanboy to justify this shit, censored game.

not really. Many costumes are behind a paywall. Only the story costumes and the colors can be unlocked in game

majority only have 3 costumes. one default, one story, and one premium (paid dlc).

outside of that, there's 3 swimsuits and 2 cpt costumes.
