Akiba’s Beat Introduces Riyu Momose

The newest glimpse at Akiba’s Beat (the successor to Akiba’s Strip) has introduced the charming idol Riyu Momose in an attempt to garner the interests of its otaku demographic by appealing to their love for idols, an unsurprising development considering the nature and tendencies of the franchise.

The introduction trailer:

Akiba’s Beat and its abundance of odd running animations will arrive on PS4 and the Vita sometime in the fall, with the west scheduled to obtain the game this winter.

I hate the way she runs. It looks so derpy.

Like I know what they were going for but they totally missed the mark.

In the previous game you could get new running animations (like a gear item) for amazing results (drunken walking in particular was amusing).

You haven't played Akiba's Trip have you? It's nothing like Persona.

And it's also better than Akiba's Beat, from the looks of it.

Looks very bland, compared to the former title. No Poyoyon Rock?
