Koji Igarashi Bloodstained Speed-Run Bloody Fast

Beloved Castlevania producer Koji Igarashi had been challenged to complete the demo for his upcoming Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night game in under 5 minutes and without killing anything during his visit to Japanese indie event BitSummit, a feat that some uncharitably believe should be an easy accomplishment for the game’s developer…

The “speed-run” in all its glory:

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night can spawn numerous speed-runs when it arrives for the PS4, Vita, Xbox One, Wii U and PC in March.

This looks like what I would expect a 2.5D version of SotN to look like. I'm hyped for Bloodstained so far.

Such a shame that Mighty No.9 was such a massive pile of blandness. Inafune needs to take lessons from Igarashi on how to do more with less.

I'd like to say it looks good, but the 3DCG just kills it for me. Looks like shit.

Heh, I didn't realize the demo actually HAD an 'end', I just kept going around in circles and never found the boss fight.

I've had the E3 floor demo on my Steam account since they gave out the key to Kickstarter backers back in June. Works well with my PS3 controller. It'll be an amazing game if it turns out to be even 1/10th as good as SoTN.

(For those with a sense of humor, I've been calling it "NotCastlevania: #FuckKonami")
