Naria Girls Debuts: “Definitely Needs Work…”




The first magical episode of the live-performed “Naria Girls” (made using the “Kigurumi Live Animator KiLA” software) has made its way online, unsurprisingly coming under fire from harsh critics due to the frequent clipping and unnatural animation – though others have been more lenient due to the fact that the program is a work in progress.

    i really hope they fail. now they want animators out of animation? this only benefits greedy companies.

    Obligatory, "Very few cartoons are broadcast live, it's a terrible strain on the animators' wrists." SIMPSONS quote.

    Also kind of reminds me of the "Homer Live" gimmick from late in the most recent season of THE SIMPSONS, though, thankfully, that was just a three-minute segment (with the west coast version being funnier than the east coast version, especially how Dan Castelleneta flubbed the script).
