Indeed, frills are justice. Celestia has a wonderful visual design.

By that I mean that I would fuck her on sight. Consequences be damned.

Hopefully we see them covered, easy to miss some of them if one would need to search all over the place for them otherwise.

This season is full of gay anime. Cast full of bishonens or one girl mixed to make terrible "reverse harem" romance.

Yeah. There's two different Danganronpa anime this season...for some reason.

One is the sequel of the first game, the other the sequel for the second game.

You know a season is bad when more than half the anticipated shows are sequels.

What a stupid comment. Wanting a second season to a favorite show(s) doesn't mean the entire medium is bad. The abundance of continuing series just means there were enough shows that people loved enough that they were able to continue.

No, sequels are pretty much a failsafe, for the exact goddamn reason that you mentioned. It's a way of playing off of a stable fanbase... or one which you don't need to estimate as much, at least. Striking out with original new things that are unpredictable is not only (financially) very dangerous, but it's also the only way the medium advances. In fact, these days even if series aren't direct sequels, they fit into a certain archetypal story. This has been true of light novels for a while especially. Manufacturing something with verified appeal is easy.

For anyone that actually wants to see something that isn't practically a walking tropefest, that means a season is bad.

That being said, it's not like this is anything new among recent seasons anyhow. Hollywood's not much different. At best you maybe get one or two shows that truly try something different. Sometimes it doesn't work out, and it sucks when the fanbase just rebukes it. Not because they should just eat shit, but because giving money to someone trying something different does in the end encourage more of those type of things..

    Well whatever, bored ramble.

Key's visual novels adaptations doesn't look to cause the same hipe that was usual ten years ago.

Unfortunately, it's only a 4-episode side story thing. Probably isn't even continuing the main story.

also how can anyone be excited by an anime series that's only 4 episodes?

Probably because of its long hiatus. If they had continued it like 2-3 years ago it would probably be near the top at least. When the manga also took that hiatus a few years ago, I gave up on the series myself bwcause it feels like I will never see the end of it in either format.
