Indeed. This kind of animation has no soul.
    Just like english voice acting.

I agree, I frigging hate English voice acting. You see OPM on Toonami? No Soul at all in their work.

Yeah OPM dubbed is horrible. I just watched the trailer and couldn't finish it.

This 3d is bad, but watchable barely.

no 3d can work but the problem is cases where it does are extremely limited

God Eater (by legendary studio Ufotable) was stiff as fuck, looks god in screenshots but unnatural in movement.
Its still too early to be used on big projects.

i´m happy, berserk was back. the movies too use 3d animation, still the anime is very cool.

I haven't seen this berserk yet but Arpeggio of Blue Steel taught me that 3D animation in anime can work brilliantly.

    We'll see how it goes.

Haven't seen the Arpeggio of Blue Steel so I can't judge but from those that I saw the black rock shooter series has the best CG and is an example of cg well done in anime. The story is another matter of course.

@01:50: Well see that's the thing with anything that's better. It takes more time and effort to create. It may even be a pain, it takes blood, sweat and tears.

That's because it's BETTER. As opposed to this shit excuse for an anime. It's WORSE.

Arpeggio and Sidonia were enjoyable because most of the time you didn't see the characters and when you did they never moved much.

Sidonia's breathtaking dogfights would be a real pain in the arse to animate without 3DCG.

You would think after all these years that they could manage to use 3d animation without it looking terrible.

What's worse is that at some points the anime looks really good, then they shove the 3D animation in your face.

I can't believe they skipped the rest of the Black Swordsman. I guess we'll never see Theresia. Worse is that they skipped Lost Children, which is one of Berserk's best arcs.

As for Casca's skin color, it was probably just the shitty lighting.

i like how the images look, but the framerate of the animation sucks...
i would like they could do somthin like naruto games on a serie (im not fan of naruto and have not played the games, but i have seen some gameplays from ninja storm games and thats 3d animation is far superior to any 3d series i have watched.

I find there's too much disparity between the 2D and 3D, it's like watching 2 seperate shows have a tug-of-war match to see who gets more screen time.

What they did with Golden Age would've been better suited.

it's obvious why is bad, it's mechanical. drawing are each unique despite the fact they might represent the same subject each time, but the artists give each drawing a different essence, something computer, Thank God, don't have.

It's like the animators try really hard to make the 3D work... but it's not working, they're not there. Good 3D CG exists, but this is not at that level, it's a bit closer to it than I'd have expected, but not really far enough along the way.

i dislike the 3d, but about the framerate it's actually the oposite. In KoS for example the 3D was at 60fps, if you view it in a mid quality rip you won't see the movement at all.
