Jesus H. frigging Christ. “Pathetic Beta male Rito”. I am getting so sick and goddamn tired of people spitting on him like that. Everyone against him acts like he’s the most evil, maniacal person in fiction since Joffrey just because he’s nervous around girls. IT’S A MANGA ABOUT A NERVOUS BOY LEARNING TO EMBRACE SEX AND LOVE. It wouldn’t really be that if he was an “alpha male” or whatever that dumbass knuckle-dragger terminology is. You don’t like it? Go watch another anime with a more risqué MC and let the creators make their art the way they want to without acting like they’re ruining their own visions.

He isn’t embracing shit, dude. This manga has been running for a DECADE, and yet every time he gets pussy or boobs in his face (which is every single day of his life) all he can do is go “O_O”. There is no character development, and the story pacing can only be described as glacial. I was digging how it was a vehicle to flaunt the Japanese censorship laws, but that trick has overstayed its welcome. Wrap the story up, give us some closure, or at least show us a sign of the characters growing and maturing (since that’s what adolescence is all about) rather than recycling the same joke over and over. It’s turning into Ranma 1/2, and I don’t mean that in a good way.

If you don’t like it, leave. That’s what you do when you don’t like a series. I’m sorry that you feel that it’s gone stale, but there are people out there who still enjoy the laid-back feel of the anime/manga. I realize that it’s been going on for a decade, but for a series released MONTHLY (not daily or weekly) for more than half of it’s run, I’d personally say there’s been plot development. Such as:

-Yui falling in love with Rito
-Haruna telling Lala that she loves Rito back
-Mea deciding to stop following Nemesis’ orders
-Yami turning into Darkness/Growing to tolerate Rito’s clumsiness
-Rito letting Nemesis possess his body so that she can live
-Risa slowly growing more attracted to Rito’s “bad side”
-Nana friendship with Mea developing while knowing about her life as a living weapon
-Rin deciding that she likes Rito AND Saki choosing to support her
        -Etcetera, etcetera, etecetera.

And if you hadn’t guessed, there’s a lot of shit happening at once right now in the series. A lot of other series with multiple plot lines usually takes up entire books/seasons to get through a mere few development cycles for each individual character. Same rule applies here, only it’s not supposed to be exceptionally faced-paced and high-tension. If you don’t like it, fine. But don’t stay around to only spout negative things about it; there’s THOUSANDS of other animes, mangas, TV shows, movies, video games, and more out there for you to invest your time in.

We do know that most of the girls in this series don’t like it when Rito sexually harasses them. If Rito were to enjoy these accidental pervert moments regardless of whether the girls like it or not, they would either flat out hate him or that they won’t like him very much. I’m convinced that this series wouldn’t work if Rito was characterized your way.

I agree with this statement. Being perverted isn’t always the best way to get a girl to like you; in fact, I’m pretty sure a majority of them prefer innocent and caring guys over lechers or cads.

    pro –
    – Nana is actually flat chested here, check darkness 2nd and you’ll see she had Momo’s size.
    – loli lala nips

    cons –
    – light beams, unnatural light beams
    – stream makes it harder to see ecchi (almost like xebec wants to return to the 1st TLR anime censorship)
    – still no nipples from Mikan
    – loli lala nips are hard to see and most of the close up scenes of her in the manga aren’t present here
    – no crotch shots, not even from lala mom..this is an OVA, stop holding back!

Ok, I’m sure as hell whoever wrote this did NOT watch the OVA. The “new lady” being Lala’s MILF might be a minor detail for somene not interested in the series, but Rito being the only male NOT hypnotized by her except her husband seems pretty big to make that kind of error in the text.
And these kind of thing are becoming more and more usual in SanCom lately. Someone needs to check if their employees are doing their work of just copypasting a gallery…

Dude, Rito touches a girl at least once a day. They call it an “Act of God” for a reason. I dare YOU to unintentionally molest Yami and avoid every single one of her attacks. Actually, in the most recent chapters he even has Nemesis living inside of him (after basically telling Gid that he doesn’t want to see a pretty girl die). She even returned the favor by getting the most tsun tsun characters to trip onto him and give him a free groping that they had to apologize for. Trust me, Rito Yuuki is secretly bad ass.

Except he still gets attacked every time he falls on top of one (which wouldn’t happen if he was gay). He doesn’t have full access (Not even Momo will let him go all the way). Every single girl in To Love-Ru is a tease. Most of the girls actually won’t let Rito touch them, and to top it off he’s trying to save himself for Haruna (who he’s had a crush on since middle school), and Haruna gets WAY too embarrassed whenever something happens between her and Rito. If anything she’s his biggest roadblock. If she can accept the Harem plan that would be fine, but it’d be better if he just moved on and actually tried with other girls. Rito’s stubborn ass doesn’t want to move away from Haruna though, especially after their accidental first kiss.

In other words Haruna is the problem, not Rito (though he’s still to blame). Momo doesn’t even realize that, but could still feel it subconsciously (which is why she felt so weird when telling Rito to confess to Haruna). Read the manga and analyze the dialogue. If you did you would understand why Rito acts the way he does. It’s not because he’s gay, it’s because he’s so fixated on Haruna that his focus on the other girls is sorely lacking. To Love-Ru doesn’t mean “Love Troubles” for nothing.
