Chinese Super Smash Bros. “Ripoff” Utterly Shameless

China’s seemingly endless well of creativity has spawned another superb original game entitled “Pocket All-Stars Smash Bros.”, a game not even trying to hide the fact that it has freely appropriated characters from Nintendo’s various franchises.

Despite suggesting that the gameplay would be similar to the mascot-based brawler, the game is supposedly card-based where players level up a variety of characters that hail from the Super Smash Bros series:

The title is also naturally rife with micro-transactions, an unsurprising element considering the game’s blatant thievery…

Worst thing about these rip-off games...theyre not available in MY country, Free Country, USA.

    Not even via Blackmart

Yes, by all means complain about a game pretty much guaranteed to install enough malware to let the Chinese government take over everything on your home network.

This is a bigger ripoff than Nick Simmons plagiarizing Tite Kubo's Bleach manga!

somehow ripping off a train from another country then sending the people in the said train to their high speed deaths then digging a hole, pushing all the corpses into it, burying it and building a apartment building on top is worse to me.
then again all Chinese games should rip off Nintendo so they will stop being cunts about copyright

And Nintendo blocked the video on copyright grounds. Wonder if they'll try to do the same to the "game".

I can only assume this game is only available on Windows/Mac, so as long as China hosts it, they can't do fuck all to block it.

If you look at Facebook games, there are many anime related ripoff made by Viets, Thais and Indons, I do not know if they have the license to do so but I seriously doubt they did.

PRCs arent on the list primarily becos they dun facebook lol.

"Wahh wahh, these ripoffs are the product of the devil! burn the witch!"

Chances are, this game will probably be a lot better than anything 1st-party nintendo will be able to produce in the future after all the disappointments so far, just think about it, they couldn't even do Starfox right without the help of Platinum Games, it's very sad but the truth hurts.

"Rip-off chinese card game for mobile with micro-transactions". Every bad word in one single phrase!

I'd rather play the worst nintendo title on stock than that.
