An atmospheric trailer for Resident Evil 7 has risen from the grave, with the developers boldly claiming that this new entry into the series will return the franchise to its survival horror roots, an unfulfilled promise that was also made for the past two games – and now possibly a third.
The spooky trailer, which some have disappointingly been likening more to Silent Hill than Resident Evil:
Sony have mentioned that the game will be VR compatible and that a demo should be available now; Resident Evil 7 will unleash its horror onto the PS4 come January 24th.
I wonder how Fatal Frame will be like if they make it into VR… :/ (puts on my brown pants)
If not a ending title I’ll never say “Its a Resident Evil”! Btw I dont like RE like a FPS
First sign it’s not going to be good:
They tried to copy P.T. because they have no creative talent to make something unique.
Second sign it’s not going to be good:
It’s the 7th “sequel” instead of being a new IP. Which means they feel it’s not good enough to stand on its own.
Third sign it’s not going to be good:
Capcom has reportedly said the teaser will not be anything like the actual game, and will not be in the actual game. This vaguely implies they are hiding the shittiness of the actual game.
Fourth sign it’s not going to be good:
They’re jumping on the VR bandwagon, which may or may not end up in complete utter failure.
Look, just. Everyone stop. Okay?
There’s no need to even discuss this garbage. We all know very well at this point that it’s not going to be good.
DC produces horrible movies because it’s DC. Look at Batman vs Superman, before that was released so many people thought that was going to be the best movie of the century and completely forgot about that horrible Superman movie. -Patterns-.
The RE Director makes crappy games because it’s coming from the RE Director (post RE4). Again, -patterns-.
If it comes from the RE director, it WILL be bad. Period. Don’t fall for it again. Please let the RE series die already.
