School students from Oihama High School in Chiba have shocked the internet by hatching chickens outside of their protective barriers (with the aid of their teacher), touted as the first ever attempt at such a feat.
Naturally the video had been generating some doubt, but a poultry scientist at Mississippi State University has confirmed that such a process is indeed possible – while also mentioning that such a thing has been done previously, albeit with less success.
The “revolutionary” event caught on video, which took about 21 days and supposedly has a success rate of about 60 percent:

The background song person must be an otaku.
It’s just the company’s BGM.
Plottwist: it’s a weeb company.
Nothing new it’s a variant of the Ramsey and Dunn improved shell-less embryo culture methods first done in 1970s which were farther simplified into the Castellot chick in a cup method in 1982.
The hard part is finding plastic that has the right permeability and making sure everything is sterile.
One thing I found cringe worthy though was they were not using gloves.
Why is it that all non fictional shows coming out of Japan are so pathetic? I’m not talking about content. I’m talking about presentation. They all seem like productions made with around 15 dollars and directed, narrated, and staring complete retards.
same goes to the U.S.-produced so-called reality shows with the production almost a million dollars or more; directed, narrated and starring complete retards that earns more than the salary of a POTUS.
Because they are made with around 15 dollars and nobody involved is a trained actor.
Why are all posts on Sankaku so pathetic? They all seem to be written, edited, and posted by complete retards.
So true. This site only is made for weebs by weebs. Nothing new here.
We are fuel of crap, that is not new
you are fule of crap, thats new
It may be possible if you can find a membrane material that replicates the shell’s properties allowing gas exchange normal saran wrap would not do the job.
But this is probably a hoax due to the lack of sterile conditions in handling of the eggs and materials.
um this really isn’t anything special, i could have done it myself but we killed the embryos before they came to term
