Original anime Charlotte has somehow garnered enough attention to warrant its own western BD release, naturally paving the way for an English dub, though some have questioned the significance of bringing over a rather poorly received title of all things…
The English trailer courtesy of the anime’s official website:
Charlotte’s first BD will come westward on August 16th, whilst the second will launch in November.
>current year
>dubs
>still s♥♥t
it can’t be helped
English dub Ayumi sucks donkey balls.
It’s good, but it aint “aniplex good”
How can we make them stop producing those re-dubs? Something has to be done to save anime from those lunatics.
Just one way. Don’t buy this crap. While you westerns support that s♥♥t with your wallets, it will only grow in numbers.
Do I look like I would indirectly finance those re-dubs? I wouldn’t do it, even if you paid me the expenses.
I never visited facebook before and am not planning on changing that. Besides, the better approach is just to give them all the anime they want to watch for free, so they won’t have to buy anything.
Just answer your question. Even if you don’t buy, there are a lot of people who does. Speak with your friends, share your disgust at facebook, advertise subbed stuff, wear a “dubs for suckers” T-shirt. Save your country from s♥♥t 😀
Same thing could be said about dubbing us films in other languages
I do say the same thing about that. But here that is off topic.
US films are horrible in the first place on it’s own, nothing to do with dubbing or not. Especially those by hollywood, almost nothing new all these years. Their belief is if there is no explosion involved then the script is no good.
Absolutely, there is nothing more cringe worthy than seeing dubs of English movies in my language. I will kill myself if I see Matrix movies again in my language.
Films being dubbed are also horrible. This is why I never go to a cinema and just pirate in the original language instead.
I still don’t understand why this was such a poorly recieved show. The ending was very Japanese sure and I didn’t agree with the underlying philosophy but the premise was interesting and characters well thought out and led to some fun interactions. I mean given some of the crazy shonen and shojo based on moe blobs with no real plot or character well this is better than those.
