The most popular androids and cyborgs of anime have been dutifully determined by the voters of this latest ranking, with nostalgia apparently proving to be a powerful factor as a classic series just barely nudges in front of an immensely well-received newcomer.
2. Genos (One Punch Man)
5. Isla (Plastic Memories)
6. Android 18 (Dragon Ball Z)
7. Motoko Kusanagi (Ghost in the Shell)
8. Ritsu (Ansatsu Kyoushitsu)
9. Nano Shinonome (Nichijou)
10. Ai Mikaze (Uta no Prince-sama)
11. Haro (Mobile Suit Gundam)
12. Kuro (Cyborg Kuro-chan)
13. Arale Norimaki (Dr. Slump)
14. Multi (To Heart)
15. Guy Shishioh (GaoGaiGar)
16. Atom (Astro Boy)
17. R. Ichiro Tanaka (Kyūkyoku Chōjin R)
18. Chise (Saikano)
19. Chachamaru Karakuri (Negima! Magister Negi Magi)
20. Miss Monochrome (Miss Monochrome)
Ritsu and Haro are just robot, nothing to do in this list.
If we are talking about androids, add Armitage and the 12 sisters from Coyote Ragtime Show.
No Mahoro or Chii… f♥♥k this list…
NO CHII FROM CHOBITS!!??? s♥♥t LIST IS s♥♥t!! >_<
I won’t bother commenting on the quality of the ranking because we know thats always s♥♥t, I’ll just point out that at least 4 of these characters shouldn’t even be on the list. A cyborg is of course a person who is part organic and part machine and an android is specifically a robot with a HUMAN appearance.
Doraemon is a robot cat, so is not an android or a cyborg.
Ritsu is a supercomputer, she doesn’t even qualify as a robot, let alone an android.
Haru is a robot but does not look like a human, so not an android.
Ms. Monochrome is a solid light hologram, not a robot and therefore not an android.
No cyborg 009?! Wtf?!
