The next entry into the highly cinematic stealth series that is Metal Gear Solid has taken the form of a pachislot machine, with its new PV showcasing the various CG sequences that will appear and no doubt causing non-gambling Metal Gear fans to lambast Konami for their “money-grubbing scheme”.

A PV of the pachislot’s cutscenes, which may very well persist for extended periods of time:

The pachislot machine can satiate the gambling lusts of Metal Gear fans when it makes its way to parlors this fall.

This shit is even worse than the Castlevania pachinko, that's the least original and surprising outcome ever for such an amazing franchise such as METAL GEAR SOLID

Fuck Konami and fuck pachinko, what a bunch of clueless faggots, yes i'm fucking mad.

Pachinko: money-milking machine for lazy and dumb gamblers.
Funnily, it was imported by a japanese from America and adapted for domestic use.

We all knew this was coming, nothing to be surprised of at this point.
Honestly, they don't deserve anymore media attention or exposure, just let them do their shit and suck money from whatever dumbass willing to spend money on their "products".

    Fuck them.

People predicted this when MGS5 came out, after Konami's treatment of Kojima. They predicted the pachinko machine bullshit.

    And look. It was right!

I mean, Konami literally said that they'd move on to mobile and pachinko machines, it's not like it was an uncertain eventuality.

We are gathered here today to lay rest to a once reputable and iconic franchise...

I'd heard Konami wanted to get out of the video game market and into Pachinko, so this doesn't come as a surprise.

Sooooo.... it's a prettier rehash of a game that already told its story perfectly only now with gambling and near none existent gameplay? Yeah imma pass on this shit.

I've never liked pachinko, live literally right across the street from a parlor and I actually gave the last Castlevania one a chance but it was horrible and if I actually cared about the story (it sucked btw) then I'd have been better off just watching it online.

I'm actually wondering how popular these "video games series to pachinko" games are. I mean I don't know much about the pachinko "scene" but the people I see playing it (usually middle age to older men and women) don't really seem like the type that would give a crap about Metal Gear, Silent Hill or Castlevania.

Maybe it attracts a younger audience in bigger cities? I dunno.

They fired him without a known reason. He has started a new development team though, and is working with Sony on a new game.

They fired him because he mismanaged The Phantom Pain's budget. Sure he did get dealt a bad hand for a while, but he is not without blame and a substantial amount as well, pretty close to 50%.
