Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV will answer the call to battle on July 9th.
This is way more of what I want than that anime they put out.
Why does Luna looks more realistic/different (and less beautiful imo) than in the game while the old king looks the same? Weird artistic decision.
A few of the characters have their faces changed to reflect their voice actors. Luna is Lena Headey aka Cerci from Game of Thrones. King Regis is Sean Bean aka Ned from Game of Thrones and a lot more. and Nyx is Aaron Paul aka Jesse from Breaking Bad.
And don’t even say it’s because of facial animation, because if you rig s♥♥t properly you can use anyone’s face to drive a character facial rig.
Why would you even need to do that. I remember when people used to make characters and get voices for them after, not try to replace the characters with recreations of the actors faces all the fucking time.
The dude with the beard looks pretty cool.
N-n-not that I’m g-gay for him or anything…
Well at least the characters don’t have that generic look that all Japanese 3d animation has.
You mean “all Japanese 3d animation that gets localized in the West owing to Western demand for generic look” because the non-generic look wouldn’t sell in the West.
People, point at this guy and laugh because he doesn’t know Umemaro.
I have to admit…probably one of those times where I prefer english dub than japanese dub. Reasons are probably because the mouth movement seems off to me or I outright hate the voices portraying the character.
Are u kiddin? Even if mouth will stop moving, there is not a single chance, english dub can be even compared..
Well considering the facial models are based on their english voices who are actual actors, I’m pretty sure the english version will stand up to the japanese dub.
