I get that All Might is an American speaking “funny Japanese”, but I don’t feel that the extra bad dubcast acting was necessary. Funimation’s dubcast couldn’t deliver a performance worthy of convincing nursery school children.

That is exactly what I’m trying to say but always got shot down by haters of subs. Apparently as long as it is in a language one understands mean it is good or plausible, they feel butthurt to even admit a Eng dub is bad when it was so obvious but is fast to scrutinize the original Jap dubs at the slight opportunity.

If the Eng dubs is really good or even decent, most people will appreciate them instead of insulting. However, supporters of Eng dubs in general doesn’t even care about the original Jap dubs in the first place, everything is shit to them, now this is what I call hypocrisy.

If I prefer subs then I’m a weeaboo is their most common argument. lol

Rift you’re such a fucking RETARDED Weeaboo, the english dubbing is just fine so get over yourself. Given what you chose to complain over (harmless COSMETIC censorship in games that does not impact story OR GAMEPLAY) & what uou chose to promote (virgin labeling hentai) you’ve got no authority to even post an OPINION regarding dubbing. Go die in a hole Rift, you’re a fucking USELESS retarded NEET!!

Isn’t it stereotyping by calling people who doesn’t like English dubs weeaboo and NEET, is there no cases of bad voice acting or “weird” accents coming from those actors throughout the years? What if someone isn’t native English speaker, do they need to force themselves to like the English dubs or risk getting yelled at by some random strangers like yourself?

But too bad the voices does impact the enjoyment of a show which is unlike games.

There are examples of poor voice acting at times sure….but this isn’t one of them, also the ratio of good vs bad English voice acting isn’t NEARLY as bad as it once was even 5 years ago. Not liking English voice acting “just because” is not a good enough reason, so neither rift nor YOU get to have an opinion on the matter.

If your “the most free country in the world” prohibits you from having you own opinion, don’t dare denying other people having it.
