Haruhi Soundtrack “With More to Come!”

The advent of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya anime’s 10th anniversary has prompted the release of a video promoting the upcoming “Complete Soundtrack of Haruhi Suzumiya”, featuring soundtracks from the entire first and second season and more, though most fans were likely even now still hoping for a new anime…

The promotional video, which ironically consists of nothing but audio:

Haruhi also quickly mentions that more things are being planned for the franchise this year – a foreboding comment if ever there were one; the Complete Soundtrack of Haruhi Suzumiya will make its way to the ears of buyers July 7th.

Season 3 is not necessary to add to the franchise, as shown by The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan.

Still, this series is so popular and there's tons of source material to adapt, can't understand why there's no S3...

In Japan only, since in America Aya Hirano is considered... a woman... so nothing she did destroyed her as a great voice actress and forever will be Haruhi's voice actress since she nailed it.

Who cares about Hirano presence or not, the whole show doesn't depend on her performance alone, any good seiyuu could replace her if necessary.
    Just do a S3 FFS!!!

Aya Hirano is doing fine. She is not the reason Season 3 hasn't happened yet. The real reason is far simpler: the last Haruhi book came out over three years ago. Without new books to promote, Kadokawa doesn't see any reason to make anime based on it.

The only reason the Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan got animated is because that series is written by a different author who can actually keep a schedule.

Nobody's talking about Magipoka's 10th anniversary. We are in it RIGHT NOW.

There's as much likelihood for a Season 3 for Haruhi as there is for Ah! My Goddess Season 3, or Index Season 3...

Actually Index S3 might happen, check ANN

Probably no third season since Aya's mouth is usually too busy with other jobs, but hey, at least we know she has a follower!
