I hear Crispin Freeman and Eden Riegel. Good enough for me... (though given what I've read, I'll probably wait for a price drop)

If it's ps only I don't care. Star Ocean started on the SNES so there's no reason why it can't be made available on Nintendo consoles again!!

The way the pink girl moves is the opposite of cute. Japanese companies need to stop living decades in the past and have to abandon Japanese media clichés. Absurd fan service outfits and excessive moe are not acceptable replacements for actual characterization and good animation.

While I somewhat agree, what did you expect from a Jap RPG? Even if there was actual character development or whatever, 90% of the game would still be a boring, monotonous grind. It's a miracle these games still have an audience at all.

The last time they tried to cater more to Western audience, FFXIII happened. I'll never forget how Toriyama mentioned 'Call of Duty' as one of their influences.

I say, let JRPGs be JRPGs. The Japanese always, ALWAYS make games with the Japanese taste in mind first and foremost, regardless of how much more profit they get from worldwide releases. Even when they claim to try catering to Western tastes, their attempts always somehow end in disaster worse than if they just follow their own mould. As much as many JRPG detractors absolutely hate the Tales series, it's proof that sticking to their own formula is the safest route for companies.

As I get older myself, I find it easier and easier to just leave JRPGs alone. We are no longer in their target demographic(teens). Just play Witcher 3 and call it a day.

The voice of Fiore is to much mature but is ok, the only problem is to sure be censored like hell.

Are you blind? Fiore isn't censored at all and still remains the same as seen in their trailers.

    Shitty English dub? Check.
    Censored for the West? Check.

    Honestly, fuck this game.

It was changed everywhere. That's why sales are so bad in Japan. The Japanese are pissed it was censored for some perceived western sensibilities bullshit.

Because they got a couple pissants for their Q&A

The sales aren't bad at all. It sold 113k on its opening week and that is pretty good especially in Japan's declining console market And there was absolute no censorship at all. The main girl's panties just had very minor editing which you barely notice the difference. No content was removed nor any designed changed.

"Marketing decisions" made solely because of the threat of outrage from SJWs.

whatever you want to call it we still don't like the change.

"I doubt you were going to buy this game anyways. You just wanted a reason to vent your frustrations."

bullshit, people can have minor reasons to buy shit. I'm getting the game...later and used thanks to the Miki panty "edit", for Fiore, the reason I know SO5 exists.

I am another user who will not be buying this, I despise censorship in all it's forms and have no respect for companies that enforce it. They get nothing from me.

BS, it's not censorship. It's called marketing decisions. The decision on whether to add or delete some scantily clad outfit, boob slider, panties or skanky outfits for some per-pubescent looking girl etc are not grand artistic visions. They are simply marketing decisions . A company would add those things if they think it would improve sales and remove them if they think otherwise.

More realistic than half your team fighting. Always did find it weird that you have a party of 7~8 people but only 3~4 enter the battle.

Yea the only game that made sense was Tales of Zestiria where in the story the other characters can't fight unless there are two contracted humans in the party.
