Final Fantasy XV has apparently become so popular (despite not even being released yet) that Square Enix have decided to produce not only an anime but a CG movie as well for the “phenomenal” title, bound to amass further hype for the game’s eventual release.
The anime (entitled Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV) will be a five episode series and will be free to watch online, with the first episode available now:
A trailer for Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV:

Final Fantasy XV will unleash its action RPG goodness on September 30th worldwide for PS4 and Xbox One.
It is sad to see -again, and again, and again-, a franchise this big to take such feeble-hearted turn.
They are pathetically going all-out, in an attempt to live a few more years.
There is no soul in this franchise. There is no substance. Ultimately, it all comes to make money. However, at what costs?
As an old gamer, it saddens me deeply that almost all entertainment has come to be all fireworks, flashes, fx’s, but no heart; no soul whatsoever.
It terrifies me.
Will we also, as humans, end up without any substance, deprived of a souls? Will we lose our ability to criticize?
Are we past beyond the turning-point?
WHEN IS THIS DAMN GAME COMING OUT!
It always worries me when a game launches with “movies” and “TV shows” alongside it. It just seems like they’re worried about the game selling itself, so they need to create all this crazy extra hype around it. At least wait and see if the fans even want movies and anime before spending the time and resources to make them.
final male fantasy
It seems like all my life there is always been “final” fantasy, even back to the Nintendo and old IBM computer days. it’s not final if they keep making more. Stop.
