Blizzard’s cel-shaded shooter Overwatch has become subjected to censorship, due to one particularly “offended” fan deciding that one of Tracer’s poses turns her into a “sex symbol”; the statement apparently holding so much weight that Blizzard developers are planning to remove the pose from the game altogether.

The fan thread in question prompted an suitably supine response from game director Jeff Kaplan:
We’ll replace the pose.
We want *everyone* to feel strong and heroic in our community. The last thing we want to do is make someone feel uncomfortable, under-appreciated or misrepresented.
Apologies and we’ll continue to try to do better.
Naturally, fans of the game with any semblance of intelligence have caused a backlash against this rather sudden and one-sided decision, providing a number of logical explanations as to how this “atrocious pose” does not sexualize the fictional girl – Blizzard has yet to comment on the situation again however, let alone rescind the decision.
However, this is not the first time the game has been censored due to feminist outrage – one map in the game possesses an outhouse with a heap of magazines littered beneath the door, suggesting an innocent onanism joke, but a recent update has seen to the sudden disappearance of the magazines in question and any suggestion of patriarchal suppression of the master sex:

The more people censor the more malice it would breed. Take swear words for example, at a young age, kids can’t say them. So when they get the chance to say them, they feel fulfilled… So yeah, censor body parts… People get deprived… Possible they get to feel so deprived just the word “boobs” would excite them.
