Animation studio Symphonium (recently founded by Hiroshi Nishikiori) has at last launched the Kickstarter for their upcoming “Chika Chika Idol” anime, which follows the endeavors of local idols on their way to stardom, an incredibly over-done concept that could probably do well enough without crowdfunding under most circumstances…
The Kickstarter pitch video:
The studio has also apparently attempted to reach out to westerners as well, as an English website is available as well as a web comic to help solicit attention:
The anime’s numerous cute idols:
Symphonium have cleverly taken advantage of both hemispheres however, as they have also utilized Japanese crowdfunding website Makuake, but considering how common idol anime have become, (with established franchises like IdolMaster miles above the rest) it seems unlikely that consumers are eager for more of the same.
The Kickstarter has unfortunately only amassed about $6,500 after about a week with its goal of $130,000 seeming quite far off, but those who’d like to see the project come to fruition can do so at the anime’s Kickstarter page.
Well, I sure hope they work with the animation if tey get crowdfunded. Because I react strongly to the mouth animation.
This is like. The quality of 3D porn I can find from DLSite from 2010. :^)
needs more death metal
I’m not going to lie, I would give $10,000 or more if I could meet Sakura Ayane, the seiyuu, just for lunch or even just a cone of ice cream for a 15-minute talk and selfie. Most importantly though, it is known in the anime community that she has nice pair of oppai, very big, so I would probably “slip” and land on her or on them!
Pretty sure you can just give 10k to Ayane herself and have her be your gf for an entire day.
I’m sorry but I’m tired of idol based anime’s right now if it was anything else than I might have support it (it)?
the drawing looks decent, but that CG looks shitty as f♥♥k
