The quickly approaching Valkyria Chronicles Remaster has shown off its legendary gun-slinging courtesy of a new PV, sure to prove nostalgic to returning players and potentially alluring to the numerous gun maniacs present in the west.
The bullet-riddled PV:
The Valkyria Chronicles Remaster will begin sharpshooting on February 10th in Japan for the PS4, while western buyers will be forced to bide their time until May 17th.
So the pc port was basically the ps3 version but only at 30 fps. This ps4 version has nothing new but runs at 60 fps?
Do we in the west also get to play that really bad azure revolution demo?
The PC version can be set to run at 60fps too, although the cutscenes are pre-rendered at 720p30.
Absolutely nothing new. I guess this is really only for people who SOMEHOW missed both PS3 and PC version.
or those who enjoyed it? i had it on ps3 and pc. but the pc version sucked so i’m glad it’s coming out on ps4
Eh? in what way did it suck?
It’s basically a higher resolution (bar the cutscenes) version of the PS3 game with negligible loading times…
As ports go, this was an extremely good one.

No you are correct, the PS3 Version had Dual Audio, i owned the PAL Version and even there it had Dual Audio on the Disc.
Really cant wait for the Remaster…. but May is so far away for now..
I faintly remember my PS3 version having japanese voices. Might be confusing it with VC3 though.
Yeah the PC port was pretty solid!
The only problem I had with it, is that it had dubsubs. But I’m guessing that was likely the case for the ps3 version too.

The PC version has dual audio as well.
Agreed, the PC port is great. Especially with no resolution limit I can crank it to 4K and play on my big screen. :-D.
That said, already pre-ordered the PS4 version since I’m a fan and want the metal blu-ray case pre-order bonus.
The dub was better than the original voices IMHO. This doesn’t happen in anime, but in games, sometimes the Japanese version is flat as f♥♥k and the English one is full of emotion.
