When the guy repairs her after her head got cut off he asks her if she wants to have her coil hidden. (The new trend for swimsuit season or something supposedly) It's explained in the Manga...they kind of skipped over and butchered the entire arc that it was part of.
Apparently this is explained in the manga. When she's being repaired after being decapitated, she's given the option of being able to hide her coil and also to have breast enlargement. She chooses both.

I'm really not a huge fan of how they're doing this adaptation. Feels like they're taking a few too many liberties for me and skipping over stuff. Feels just too rushed to fit so much into 12 episodes. It's a shame because after the first episode I read up on the Manga and loved it...but it's only translated through partway of this current arc even with another ~5 volumes of content out.

Yeah...not excited. They've already cut out a good bit of content from the episodes already. They also basically skipped an arc and didn't bother explaining some of the details from it and others that made a lot of things make more sense. There's I believe 9 volumes of the manga out currently and this episode brings us up to about the start of the 4th volume. Granted we skipped a LOT by skipping the last arc. It wasn't really important plot wise maybe but still...seems like they're just changing and shoving shit around to cram stuff in. I'm more concerned about getting a BS anime original ending or something since the manga is ongoing.
SPOILER ALERT (/s): That's because once again, an animation studio chose to follow the "inundate with fan-service route to sell BDs after season concludes" as opposed to attracting viewers via plot-driven adaptation. Shocker
Viewers who like plot-driven shows like you don't buy BDs. Why would they cater to you?
