Trump won't deport anyone based on race. He will deport people on the basis of paperwork: the Mexicans will be deported not because they are Mexicans but because they entered the country illegally.

You're obviously thinking that Trump doesn't want anyone but pure-bloods in the US. You have probably been reading content written by scaremongers on the left.

As a business man Trump knows that skilled migrants are useful. He has mentioned it before in his rally. They go through a process which ensures that they will pay taxes, contribute needed skills to society and have a certain level of education (which affects the environment of the next generation).

Those are the immigrants you want.

Many countries in the world _deport_ illegals and welcome legal immigrants. Why should the US be the one that accepts illegals?

Last time I checked it was difficult to get into Canada legally. e.g. Age, education, work experience etc... are all taken into account. Obviously a country needs to be strong to survive in a highly competitive world. I do not blame Canada for having a strict points system. It is good that they want young educated people to come in. Likewise, Australia and New Zealand have strict point systems too.

So with the above in mind, is it wrong for the US to want the best people to come in?

Illegals don't pay taxes, give businesses an extra way to dodge paying full wages, and do not bring high skill levels (otherwise they could have just come in legally). There was a time when local teens worked the low-paid jobs. It gave them a good lesson in life about effort and reward. It showed them discipline and responsibility. Many of those jobs are now given to illegal immigrants. So not only does it mean there is less money for upgrading infrastructure (via taxes), but it affects society for generations to come.

Maybe I have you all wrong and you are you one of those "world without borders" people. In that case I'd expect that your agenda does not care about the above because you would prefer that the entire planet be one country. i.e. no one is illegal anymore and so everyone pays taxes. My brief response to that is that you underestimate asia. The US and other leftist western nations may join that little party, like many european nations joined the EU (they practically have no borders amongst themselves), but just watch how economic crises become more difficult to contain (e.g. greece, spain). Witness how those who know how to exploit these systems (e.g. bankers) take not just one, but many countries for a ride. It's a bigger jackpot that way. The chinese btw will never be part of this thinking. They will swoop in and buy up assets on the cheap after a crisis, just like they are doing in Spain.

Anyway, to put it briefly, Trump knows what's going on and he is the only one that is likely to ensure the west continues to exist. He once said that while the US is spending billions policing the world, china is spending billions a day _buying_ the world. That's rather accurate. I'm not sure if you're keeping an eye on agricultural land and companies being bought up. I can go into more detail about this, but I think I've just hogged a huge amount of real estate here :)

If Trump wants to deport immigrants, illegal or otherwise, then every man, woman & child in this country better start packing and head to the borders.

There is not one person who is a pure-blooded American. Even assholes like Trump have ancestry outside the US.

The United States is and always will be a nation of immigrants, whether legal or illegally living here.
