A new PV has arrived to coincide with the debut of Digimon Adventure Tri‘s 2nd release, hopefully convincing those reluctant to happen upon it to go see the film, whether out of mere curiosity or childhood nostalgia.
The action-packed PV:
Digimon Adventure Tri’s 3rd film is slated to hit Japanese theaters sometime this summer.
Question.
I saw the word action, and all I saw was a bunch of still-frames.
(I guess that IS action as far as TOEI is concerned.)
Answer.
It is too harsh to judge an movie based on barely 2 minutes worth of content.
That aside, I wonder who started the trend of imposing certain standards on anime related materials in the first place, back in the 90’s, people were much more appreciative and can easily overlook minor flaws unlike this new generation.
That awesome art style… wasted on Digimon
They could have wasted it on Poke’mon.
(That really WOULD have been a waste)
This is a movie which has higher frame rate than regular anime that is produced with lower budgets in general.
Is it going to be as boring as the other episodes? Is Tai going to be an unwavering pussy too?
