ValkyriaChroniclesRemaster-Story-Trailer-3

A new trailer for the long awaited Valkyria Chronicles Remaster has focused on re-informing players of the title’s much-loved and sadly now very old original story, perhaps giving off an intriguing enough aura to also persuade newcomers into experiencing the franchise as well.

The dramatic trailer:

The Valkyria Chronicles Remaster will march its way to the PS4 on February 10th.

VC2 had an actual english release and VC3 had a fan translation patch since about 2 years ago.

Everything seems similar. It comes with a demo for the new Valkyria game though.

Yeah I just watched that trailer, and there is literally nothing different between that and what I have on PC.

Smells like quick grab for sega.

Only thing new are the cutscenes are in 1080p. The PC port still has the 720p graphics, which were pretty much PS3. Other than that, nothing is different.

Yeah, that's exactly what it looks like. The game will probably sell for around $30-$40 too. I got a copy on Steam for ~$6. An extra $25-$30 for cutscenes upscaled to 1080P? I sure hope Sony dedicated don't fall for this.

It looks like they upgraded the cutscenes.

Bringing console war here aren't we? But at least their games isn't mainly violence shooters or action RPGs that the X-bone chunks out. Being reduced to bones from buying clone after clone of same genre games certainly sounds not so gay, yeah right.

I'm prepared to be down-voted and couldn't care less since I spoke my mind. :)

Sadly, the only thing that's keeping PS4 afloat now is the indies (that can be bought cheaper on PC years before they're ported), lack of interesting exclusives is hitting the consoles pretty hard this gen... And most of them are yet another part of an existing franchise...
