Million Girls Project has offered an opportunity for lonely otaku to stay dry with their new “an-burera”, a seemingly normal umbrella adorned on the inside with a creepy upskirt vista, sure to prove more effective than any chastity belt in protecting the virtue of its user.
The device is available in both shimapan and sukumizu flavors:
Fortunately, it seems likely that seldom will such a tool likely be used (for its intended purpose at least), considering the item’s core demographic has a tendency to shun the outside world.

I want one with Miku-pan.
Alright, Imma go make some Miku-bread (pan) thanks for waiting. XD
FAP!
I would totally use this if only I could figure out how to buy one, but my Japanese is not so good...
Where's the nopan? FAIL!
How clever this is something only the Japanese could ever come up with.
I expect thousands of japanese man not watching their steps and running into lamp posts now.
Not happening because millions of people daily are using their cell phones while walking but rarely do anyone knock into something.
Japan will never stop surprising me.
Just Awesome
would buy
I need one with Kallen Kozuki.

Genius! This is one of those simple things that make you wonder why didn't someone else thought of it before.
Oh the reasons come to mind quite easily...
This is very clever.
Pure genius. Just never share your umbrella with a girl. As if that ever happens!
People seldom look up at the umbrella especially when it rains and is usually dark due to the clouds, unless you brought it out for blocking sunlight which I don't think most guys would normally do.
If anything, I'd say this is genuinely pure genius at work here because umbrellas have not evolved much except for some innovative ideas to conceal them into strange objects like a bottle etc, down to it's core, they are still the same thing.
Goths do use (black) umbrellas to stay pale, and I have spotted at least one creep-O-taku with one for sunblock on photos from comiket news on here.
As you can see, these two featured umbrellas is dark in color intentionally, if you walk and hold it straight up, there is no way anyone can see what is above the interior of the umbrella, unless you hold it slightly slanted backward.
I'm male and have skin problem thus cannot stay in the hot sun for long period of time, I'm pretty sure being an otaku doesn't make them immune to illness.
And please don't generalize every otaku as creep just because of a selected few bad apples.
i usually look up at them because somehow the mechanism still facinates me. then again, autism.
School girls...you mean..
What a time to be alive...
Prior to this, all umbrellas were nopan.
Really cool idea. Kinda makes you want to walk in the rain more often ;)
I don't think the fact that they shun going outside is the main reason...
They'd probably get the cops called on them for having such an umbrella.
That was pretty clever actually :D
Eh! Only two?
