Hyperbole does not a good argument make. YouTube doesn’t use popups of any kind and I’ve encountered a grand total 2 60 second long unskippable ads on YouTube in the last 5 years. Most ads are 30 seconds or less and the majority of them can be skipped after 5 seconds.
