Nah, it’s the reversal of the usually accepted social behavior. Escape from repression if you will. For both sides, actually. The cosplayers, they go there and show off. “Look at me and my creation!” It’s not like they didn’t know the crowd gathering there. They objectify themselves on purpose here. They tease, show panties and whatnot. If it’s fun for them, why not. The photographers, I can’t really understand the creepy guys but let me pull this out of my ass here. Perhaps they don’t really see these cosplayers as humans who want to show off anymore. Cosplay is a lot of work if you create your own costume. Just look at some of the creations in this gallery. Some are legitimately nice photos of high-end costumes. But those creepers don’t seem interested in the actual costume or the person inside, it seems more like a contest of who gets the best shot of her pussy, ass, tits. And not just for themselves, they go online, post those shots and wait for other people to say “Oh that is a GREAT shot!” like some sort of rare animal photographer.
Again, I think this is just escape from reality’s accepted behavior. The moment you leave the cosplay venue exhibiting this sort of behavior, you would be ostracized immediately and end up in jail.
