Declining populations are a bad thing. You're going to have fewer and fewer people to work and take care of the elders, declining economy and whats more it's the more educated and more intelligent (and intelligence is mostly genetic) who have smaller families and so the population becomes less intelligent as the more educated/intelligent women prefer to have fewer kids or no kids at all.
Small families are OK as long as they are above replacement value, and that's like 2.3-2.5 or more.
The idea that there will be a population crisis based on a growing population is based on outdated and flawed understanding of Malthusian reasoning.

Your arguments are void because everything scales together, EXCEPT resources, because the Earth will never resize itself to fit the population. Fewer people indeed means fewer people to work, but it also means fewer people to work for. You don't need to worry about the elders as long as the birth rate isn't declining too fast. Actually, we should also stop trying to increase our lifespan. I don't want to end up packed in a house with fellow elders, in a crippled body, bored to death, waiting for my time to come, wasting money, not allowed to die even if I wished to.
Just because we have enough resources to support more billions individuals, doesn't mean we ough to grow the population. You still have to take the management of these resources into account. And I'm sorry to say that as of today, our management is poor. This needs to be fixed before we try to make more children.

That isn't "cold", yes I'm aware Americans don't measure in Celsius, but I'm certain most of you could walk around with minimal clothing and not feel super cold or anything in those temperatures.

Freezing? LOL. In 12-15oC if it's not raining, you could wear light clothing and be fine.
Must be a desert rat like myself, we're ok with the higher temp range, but just a little under 70F and things start to feel very chilly for us.
"Light clothing" what the fuck are you on about? Everybody here in Tokyo is wearing full winter clothing, it's freezing, especially in a windy area like Big Sight.
Those of us in Phoenix, Arizona are comfortable at around 80-90F (26-32oC) due to no humidity in the desert, however due to the same reason, if there is no sun directly on you, temperatures drop immediately in the shade or when the sun sets, and our nights hit snow-level temperatures, bouncing off of freezing just barely.
But if it does drop below 70, the chill is near-immediate to us and compounds pretty quickly.
That said, we love seeing people who visit and try to handle the 110oF (45oC) in summer that can cook eggs on a sidewalk while we can handle it for extended periods.
