Unless it was made by request by a ‘fan’ of the show. I doubt any money exchanged hands. This was probably made as some twisted fetish thing or just to show that they could.

As for making money for models. It depends on your skill level. It you’re just good at rigging and animating exiting models. There are several locations you can easily find on the web. But, if you’re willing to put in the effort and make some from scratch. Then the possibilities are endless.

Though if you do go for the latter, i’d recommencement getting some knowledge on UV mapping and texturing. Nothing major, just something so whoever wants to do something with whatever you make. Doesn’t have to spend hours making sure the verts line up correctly and there are no texture stretching going on.
